The LAMP approach to information management is to collate and integrate into a single system the important information relating to a Project, Service or Cost Centre. For example, the system is the primary input source for work time, expense and purchase data. Costs and charges are available alongside events and work patterns, and accordingly assessments for critical areas of work can be made using information from a single system. This integration of approach facilitates an early appreciation of the aspects of service viability.
