Ease of administration is a primary aim within LAMP. The functions of the LAMP system are backed up by an extensive list of facilities to enable the user to manage the system effectively and with sufficient flexibility to manage change. For example, new user access permission classes can be designed and implemented by the user with little IT skills - no programming techniques are required. Therefore the system is maintained primarily by staff closely involved with its direct usage and in this way a secure access model can be implemented. The user organisation can have confidence that its system is secure. |
