LAMP promotes accuracy in the organisation by:
- Facilitating and supporting retrospective actions
Many organisations are subject to periodic change whilst others change relatively infrequently. In either case such changes can be traumatic for the financial model in operation. Previous budgets and assumptions may need to be modified and abandoned. By maintaining the history of structural change, the resultant changes can be more readily understood and appreciated. LAMP can also facilitate a retrospective action thus endowing the organisation with the confidence of knowing that the model can be changed as needs arise and not as the system demands.
