LAMP promotes accuracy in the organisation by:
- Identifying all the resources and their costs associated with a cost centre
Identifies all the resources associated with a management unit (employees and non-human resources) together with their costs thus allowing a true assessment of the operational cost of both the resource and the unit.
LAMP uses a sophisticated overhead analysis and allocation for multiple business/cost unit operation that utilises multiple overhead types using two bases of allocation. Using these facilities allows the user to establish a wide range of overhead costs. However, if required a simple summary can be entered instead. These facilities provide a comprehensive method of preparing a full budgetary breakdown leading to a highly accurate cost rate model.
